ARALUR S.L. is a company that was established in 1987, located in Ciordia (Navarra) and manufactures products that are used as substrate both in agriculture and gardening.
Over the last few years the company has evolved from solely manufacturing substrate based on pine bark, hen droppings and peat to incorporating new products into its range such as Fibralur, Turbafib and decorative bark.
To this effect, in relation with technological innovation, and as a result of its collaboration with the I&R&D Department of the Industrial Association of Navarra (AIN), the Public University of Navarra and the University of Almeria, it has developed and patented a stabilised wood fibre with excellent agronomic properties making it suitable for improving the properties of the ARALUR substrates for use as substrates for hydroponic crops.

The development of this product within the I&R&D programme was approved by the CDTI (Centre for Industrial Technological Development) and received a special mention from this organisation.
With respect to the European Market, ARALUR currently participates in the PIPE 2000 programme, developed by ICEX (`Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade) and the Chamber of Commerce or Navarra, and whose objective is to facilitate the entry of companies into international markets.
